PROGRESS Building 8 has been removed, and Building 40 is currently being demolished The copper room and balustrade of the cupula have been restored. Windows should be arriving soon. The plaster work in the lobby space has been completed. Touchup and paint will be next.

DESIGN ACTIVITIES Replacement of the slate roof and repairs to dormers continues. Team is finalizing permitting. Selective demolition is complete, leaving the structure exposed and ready for renovation. ACTIVITIES Early demolition package is complete. Bids were received for the renovation scope on October 14. Brandt Construction is finalizing review of bids and getting subcontracts in place. Scaffolding is being installed around the front of the building to start the replacement of the slate roof.

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES LEARN MORE ​ DEMOLITION ACTIVITIES Selective Demolition is currently underway. Contractors are in the process of removing the old systems, including flooring, ceilings, piping, ductwork, conduit and lighting, to help clear the way for the new systems to be put in place.
